Create your perfect day in New Zealand's world-famous
Marlborough wine region on a private 6-hour experience tailored to your
interests. Whether you are visiting Marlborough for the first time, celebrating
a special occasion or simply looking to experience New Zealand’s most famous wine
region, this private tour is designed entirely around you.

Departing Blenheim central about 10:00am from your chosen
accommodation or pick up point discover
the scenic beauty of the Marlborough wine region. A short scenic drive of about
15 minutes.

Begin your
day with a relaxed tasting at one of Marlborough’s award-winning cellar doors,
where you will discover both classic favourites and exciting new varietals.

Throughout
the day we will meet locals for private wine tastings and gourmet, artisan and
cultural delights.

Enjoy
stunning views of the Marlborough wine region while we transfer between venues.

It has been
a set pattern that at your second wine tasting stop, a cheese or cheese and
meat platter is on the cards for you (optional at your own cost).  A sensational way to savour the wines and
some special varietals I know you will not have tasted before.

An
additional wine tasting experience has been booked here at a special garden
setting in a winery or inside looking out if it is chilly.  Just a nice interlude before your lunch.

A short
drive of 10 minutes you will arrive at one of the choice winery restaurants for
a delicious lunch with wine tasting at the table.  90 minutes gives you an enjoyable interlude
to sum up the morning and decide if more wine is on the cards too or perhaps
some of the artisan, local produce, or gardens are open to choice. Although by
appointment in advance let us know whether a visit to a renowned local art
gallery between 11:00am and 3:00pm could be available.

No visit
would be complete without a stop at Makana Boutique Chocolates where
complimentary tastings are always a favourite. Everyone Loves chocolate!

Your day
can be highlighted even more before returning to your accommodation about
4-4:30pm (flexible) to take a 15-minute scenic drive out to The Pacific Ocean,
beach and high-top views of the symmetric vineyards of the Wairau Plains along
the coastline of Cloudy Bay.

Your day
can be highlighted before returning to your accommodation about 4-4:30pm
(flexible) to take a scenic drive out to The Pacific Ocean, beach and high-top
views of the rolling vineyards along the coastline of Cloudy Bay.

over the wines that you will taste throughout the day.  Even return to them and taste again.  It is quite common for people’s favourites to
either love their first taste or their last of the day.  No waiting around for others to dawdle or be

5. Optional Experiences

Marlborough is a diverse region with wine top billing;
however, Dairy is our largest New Zealand Industry. A real strawberry fruit
ice-cream with all the extras is a treat from September to April. Cherries in
December. Time is easy on the day to fit some of your desires into the mix.

A special lasting memory of so many visitors has been the
pure beauty and peaceful surroundings with native birds, the vast landscapes
encasing the Wairau Plains where we all reside. The high view you will be taken
